Silicone Render
External Wall Insulation
Plastering
Silicone render is commonly known as “Thin Coat Render” or “Top Coat” of an External Wall Insulation system, although it is not solely applicable to External Wall Insulation.
Silicone Render or Thin, Silicone Top Coat can be applied to Solid walls as well as Light weighed construction as long as the wall has been prepared by an appropriate base coat with a reinforcing mesh.
External wall insulation is a great alternative when looking to improve the insulation of a building, reducing heat loss and improving the building envelope.
Buildings that have been constructed prior to the 1930s are generally built with solid walls, meaning there are no cavities that can be filled with insulation. Therefore, in order to improve the insulating properties of the building, insulation must be fitted on the exterior of the walls
The process of creating plasterwork, called plastering or rendering, has been used in building construction for centuries.

What we do whilst your render project is underway:

Protect your home (driveway windows doors etc)

Provide a scaffolding company

Remove and reinstall all electrical drainage and plumbing

Remove and reinstall sky, virgin

Supply over sills if needed once your external wall insulation has been fitted

Mastic sealant around all windows and doors

And finally a good jet wash and clean up when completed
